FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

How long can I wear the menstrual sponge?

On days with heavy flow, we recommend changing them after 3-5 hours . On days with light flow, you can wear them for about 5-8 hours . After intercourse without a condom, you should replace it immediately.

Can I accidentally remove the coil with the menstrual sponge?

Consult your gynecologist before use. There's usually no risk of accidentally removing it. However, in rare cases, and if you experience spotting (minimal flow), the thread may stick to the sponge. In this case, the IUD may be accidentally removed during a change.

Can my partner feel the menstrual sponge during penetrative sex?

It depends on the length of the genitals!

It's important that the soft tampon is inserted deep enough, in front of the cervix. Furthermore, in women who tend to have less lubrication, the vaginal entrance may also feel dry immediately after inserting the tampon. In this case, it's recommended to use a water-based lubricant.

Are they reusable?

Please use it only once , as this means that hygienic safety and high absorbency can no longer be guaranteed and infections can occur. Therefore, we strongly advise against washing the menstrual sponge and reusing it.

I have a latex allergy, can I use them?

Contains no latex or rubber and can be safely used by people with latex allergies.

Can I use a condom when wearing a menstrual sponge?

YES! The surface of the menstrual sponge is soft and won't damage the condom.
